First-Time Burner

Post by RobT1+ » Tue Jun 13, 2023 5:29 pm

Anxious and excited about my first burn. My name is Rob and I do not have a playa name just yet. I have been preparing for Burning Man for a year and am currently overwhelmed with information. I know that things will eventually work out for the best and I am always interested in new opportunities/ adventures. I am still awaiting a ticket either on the STEP waitlist and/or will be registering for the upcoming OMG sale and have been searching for a camp that is welcoming and open to first-time burners, so it can make my burn more enjoyable. The thought of doing it all on my own seems a little scary.

Hey there, welcome to eplaya.
Elderberry

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Welcome! Do you know we have regional groups all over the world?

https://regionals.burningman.org/

Burning Man is a wilderness campout. Ticket or not, go for a wilderness campout for a week on Black Rock Desert or near your home.

The regionals are nice people to meet!
