I guess the thing is ... I know *I* could sing badly if my loving burner friends were there. I would not be afraid to just pour myself out and let whatever happens happen. Add my own little bit of art to the night ... kindof like being able to dance like nobody is watching.

See you there, kooshie! (may I call you Kooshie?)PurpleKoosh wrote:I never said I wouldn't sing, geekster. Just that I couldn't bring myself to sing badly. My voice is one of the few things I actually get vain about....

Like the pine trees linin’ the windin’ road
I’ve got a name, I’ve got a name
Like the singin’ bird and the croakin’ toad
I’ve got a name, I’ve got a name
And I carry it with me like my daddy did
But I’m livin’ the dream that he kept hid
Movin’ me down the highway
Rollin’ me down the highway
Movin’ ahead so life won’t pass me by
Like the north wind whistlin’ down the sky
I’ve got a song, I’ve got a song
Like the whippoorwill and the baby’s cry
I’ve got a song, I’ve got a song
And I carry it with me and I sing it loud
If it gets me nowhere, I’ll go there proud
Movin’ me down the highway
Rollin’ me down the highway
Movin’ ahead so life won’t pass me by
And I’m gonna go there free
Like the fool I am and I’ll always be
I’ve got a dream, I’ve got a dream
They can change their minds but they can’t change me
I’ve got a dream, I’ve got a dream
Oh, I know I could share it if you want me to
If you’re going my way, I’ll go with you
Movin’ me down the highway

{giggles arrives lugging various computer parts and begins to plug this into that, arranging her setup in her favorite cozy booth......various books with titles like Dorland's Medical Speller, Stedman's Equipment Words, and Pharmaceutical Word Book litter the table........a foot peddle underneath.......she pours a cup of coffee; this being a bar, she douses it with a shot of whiskey and then sets to work, fingers flying}
(Don't mind me! I've decided to just move the whole friggin operation over here, since this is where I am most of the time anyway. Hmmmm, I wonder if I could type from the hot tub.......)

Koosh: I'm the SAME way... last time we went to karaoke, my friend says "okay, we're the only people we know here. Eveyone else sucks. Let's murder us some songs!"
I couldn't even PRETEND to try.

*sets about making two large mugs of hot water. Proceeds to squeeze half a lemon into each mug, getting a bit of pulp in, too. She then spoons two heaping spoonfuls of organic honey into each mug, stirring until it is dissolved. Taking both mugs, she heads for the door*
i'll be back. I just have to deliver this other one...

woo fucking hoo, I've got you beat BHA......check out this bit o typing (not writing):
Left-to-right crossover with laser of the superficial femoral artery, popliteal, tibioperoneal, and peroneal arteries; percutaneous transluminal angioplasty of the peroneal and tibioperoneal stent of the popliteal and superficial femoral artery; catheter placement from the left common femoral artery to the right tibioperoneal. A 7 x 45-sheath, wired via support to the ankle. Angiogram below the knee with laser support; used a 1.4-millimeter laser at 50 millijoules per meter squared to 40 hertz, dilated the distal peroneal with a 2.0 x 10-centimeter balloon, dilated the tibioperoneal with a 2.0 x 10-centimeter balloon, dilated the superficial femoral artery and popliteal with 4 x 10-centimeter balloon. Implanted a 6 x 150-Protégé stent in the popliteal and the superficial femoral artery and a 6 x 150-Protégé stent in the superficial femoral artery. Implanted a 6 x 80-Protégé stent and post dilated with a 4 x 10-balloon to 10 atmospheres, with a very nice result. Hopefully one of these days, Dr. Murphy remarked, it will be a durable result.
