Down 5. I was trying to push down a stupid thread (defined as "a thread started by a selfihs and annoying person who should be completely plonked by the entire board") that I had just posted to. Can I tak e my karma to the dry cleaners?

I'm thinking of moving to Death Valley with Heli... or at least near him (sixty, seventy miles... like Beatty, or some place) and just be a desert rat. Sigh....
Sam, there isn't shit in Beatty unless you want to work at a service job. Three casino's (little ones), a few restaurants, a couple of gas stations, and a few motels. Pahrump is growing, there might be a couple of computer kind of jobs, but I'm not sure. A couple of banks. Not much. I just drive through Beatty, fuel up, get groceries in Pahrump or Vegas. The concession in the Park, Xanterra is always hiring though. Still a service kinda job. Vegas probably has more in the way of non-service type jobs, but it's getting very expensive to live there. Just my dos pesos.
