Poor Ormat, spending all their own money to ruin people’s homes. If their “exploratory” phase was less impactful, not such a large installation impacting the town, without the resident’s consent, maybe they could have proceeded slower in steps with community agreement? The state board they got approval from initially was manned by their own former employees and industry consultants. Didn’t it bypass all environmental impact study as well?
