We have struggled to find an efficient way to easily accept camp dues from our international members due to varying international compliance regulations. Has anyone found a solution for this? It's very easy to accept payment from within the US however, specific country laws make it difficult to easily accept payments from outside the US.
Any ideas here would be welcome.
Cheers!

We use PayPal for all of our camp dues, and definitely for all our international members.

I set up a Stripe account, and I use JotForm to make a form where campers fill out their information and pay for camp dues.
JotForm has a "GooglePay / ApplePay" component where you can add google pay and apple pay to your form, which you can hook up to your stripe account. Campers just see a credit card form that is automatically integrated with google pay and apple pay if they have it. That probably covers most countries with hard currency and credit cards connected to the international system.
If you have campers in other countries with weak currency, I suggest you have them set up a wise.com account and transfer the money via a bank transfer to your bank account. Wise is set up in a whole lot of countries as long as they have a local bank account.

Perhaps you can look into 'Wise' ? https://wise.com/
its a digital bank and has very low fees for international transfers. I am from UK and used it several times to send money to US bank accounts. The receiving bank account holder does not need to have a Wise account, but if you are transferring from Wise to Wise, its super quick. You can then withdraw the funds to your regular bank account or the camp's account etc.
You can always use PayPal but the fees are high in comparison and it feels wrong to pay bank fees on digital money transactions...
