Trailer Storage in Bay Area

Post by DrCook » Thu May 09, 2024 7:55 am

Does anyone know of a burner-friendly spot in the Bay Area to store a 45' trailer containing our camp gear? Along the lines of what Breen Trucking offers in Reno, or Fixxer/Empire Storage has in Empire. We're planning to switch to this after outgrowing our 20' container from the org, and since we're mostly from the Bay Area it might be worth paying a little more to have easier off-season access to our gear, and to transport campers' personal stuff to the burn so that they can leave their cars at home and take shared transportation. Thanks!

Treasure Island used to be the spot, but now they're building "fancy" condos out there so I"m not sure what goes on over there. Probably very pricey if they still do that.
Sooner or later, it will get real strange...

Thanks for the response, Jackass. I called a few spots on Treasure Island and there's a place that'll store it for $375/mo. A lot more expensive than Breen in Reno which is ~$800/yr. I'll keep looking for a cheaper option maybe in a more industrial part of the Bay Area somewhere, because it would really simplify our operations, but also we're not made of money and we want to keep things affordable for our campers of lesser means.
