Burner community experiences

Hi -
I am collecting stories of community for a book that I'm working on. I am interested in any stories you have of how Burning Man has satisfied your needs for human connection, on- or off-playa.

Anything from your playamates babysitting for you, or new collective energy created on the Playa, or whatever. Community, connectivity, shared joys, frustrations, whatever.

My thesis is that Americans have been sold a shiesty dream, one that isolates us from each other, and makes connection a commodity we never have enough money to purchase. There is a drive, whether underground or above ground, to reclaim community as a necessity. Do you agree? Have any supporting claims?
