Have you traveled internationally in questionable situations? Do you have layers of cannot lose, and backups?

Well BRC is a questionable situation!

In international travel in questionable situations, it is a good idea to keep can-not-lose items like your passport, money, and mobile device securely attached to your body. And to have a photo of them and cloud backups to aid in replacement.

These pouches are a common inexpensive item online used by travelers to hold their passports rather than holding them in a pocket or purse.

Last year I brought a waterproof neck travel / phone pouch. I used it to carry my ID, phone, a pen, and a Moleskine. The one I found was clear, so I could insert art facing out. You can decorate them and the neck strap.

They are inexpensive.

As for phones, the tide is changing. They are useful for nav, What, Where, When in apps, marking you bike parking spot, checking weather, department emails, and checking shiftboard. The departments I volunteer for have Internet hot spots. I believe don't post from the playa to the socials, post afterward of you must.
