I'm sorry but I should have titled the post "Is Pinky's Pirate returning?"

Pink by any other name

If you mean what was the big Pinky's Pink Pirate camp back in 2003, it morphed into the Pink Mammoth in 2004. (I spent a lot of time at both.) It was a smaller venue last year, but still lots of fun. There was some kind of conflict over keeping the original "Pinky's" name within their group, or at least that was the story I was told by one of the organizers.

my understanding was that alex stopped being involved with the camp after 2003, but that it had enough momentum to keep going.

no idea how it will morph from where he left it off...

Pinky's, aka the Prim Patty's (a group from Los Angeles) last venture in BRC was 2003. A group heavily involved with the original, originating in the Bay Area (Pink Mammoth, the Blender Boys), wanted to keep something going on their own. A spin-off, if you may. Ergo, Pink Mammoth. I love those guys, and support what they are doing whole-heartedly -as should you.

To keep to the topic, Pinky's will not be returning. I think what happened there, and what was happening at that time with BM, and BRC in genereal, will not and can not repeat.
