Zule, so you have fairly new tires, a new rebuilt transmission, so your costs will be less. What about a tent? Lighter and doesn;t need tires.

I had one of those BM dreams the other night where you find yourself on the playa with a half-full duffel bag of useless clothing and not much else. Start to wander around and figure out if you can at the very least find a corner to crash in for the night.

Anyone else get these?

I had one about being in a dome.....funny, I've never been in a dome! It was my dome, but I don't have one YET!

That’s kind of what I'm thinking, sleep in the van hang out in the shade structure. I'd really miss the fridge, not that I had much I needed to keep cold but I made my own Ice and always had cold water for the camelback.

It;s huge, room for almost everyone, but the Secret Hot Spring is a little smaller.

I have a Honda EU2000 I would want to bring too,... real toast, and drip coffee. though there are a lot of ways of extracting goodness from the bean.

Last year I pretty much just used it in the morning to make coffee and breakfast and topping off the battery for lights.
