2026 BLM Black Rock Playa Closure Schedule

Phase 1 will close about 10,185 acres (less than 3% of the playa) from July 30, 2026, through October 10, 2026.

Phase 2 will close about 51,149 acres (33% of the playa) from August 24, 2026, through Sept. 11, 2026.
