Woo-hoo! GE's mom and I are going to RAWK! Now we need to see about getting Rian's mom on the playa.
The delivery truck is delivering our (late) papers, so I must grin and bear it. I will take a few of those beans.
It's winter here for sure. That blanket is looking good right about now.

Yeah, I liked his "Stairway to Heaven" and "Whole Lotta' Love"...Rian Jackson wrote:pretty good. the first set i was a little tight, the second one rocked out.
it was a great group of musicians, and Jim Page is a lot of fun to gig with.

it hurts. i've got it aced right now. it needs some rest and ice and heat and a good backrub, probably.
so i got to the gig last night and everything had been changed around. my one huge performance pet peeve is that i know what i'm preparing and what the basic conditions are before i arrive. the other musicians changed it all up. i was PISSED. but i ended up saying what the hell. i cur songs, rearranged the sets, and called it good. it turned out really well.
it was kick ass to see Lydia and CWL and some other burner folks there.
i would have liked a monitor... we were supposed to be unamplified and then we ended up miced without any type of feedback, so it's really hard to hear how it came across.
at the intermission, i was talking about how i couldn't find my diaphragm (practicing standing and then sitting for the show doesn't work well), how i left it at home. everyone around my thought i was speaking of something other than a big muscle....
looks like i may end up playing with anna rowland and brenna more in the future. they're gonna gig here on the west coast more. no time to rest, methinks.

Also remember RtW's sad, sad posts about how he can't run away on a bike no more. Maybe you should find a phyiscal therapest who works with these issues NOW before you lose the chance to make music.

ah, fish, alas and fuck, it already has kept me from things. i just can't afford physical therapy in any amount that would heal the issues. heli's helping, though.

But. . .
see fish, i did chiropractic 6 days a week for months almost exactly a year ago after a small household fall was the straw that fucked this camel's back. it was just getting better when my insurance - which is pretty good for this country - cut me off. i'm not entirely sure if i'm done paying bills from it yet. and i haven't had an appointment since april.
fish, it's either live with the problems and have some freedom to go do what i want to do in the world, or be completely tied to medical bills - which means being stuck in a job that isn't satisfying, too.
i need to get over my fear that, once again, the solutions won't work and actually get a regimen of some sort. as soon as they open the motherfucking gym i'm going back there (already signed up) because i think my back is better when it's stronger, and it seems that a better back means better wrists/elbows/etc. frankly, though, it's really hard to be devoted to a system when you gave up hope for it all at 17 years old. but i'm trying.

Sure thing, baby. and welcome. How's the weather in there?InsideNow wrote:hey tisha,
thanks for opening shop.
is it possible to get a nitro? or maybe a flaming lamborghini?
Did you want the classic Nitro Shot (Sambuca, Goldschlager, Brandy), or a Nitro Cocktail (Vodka, whiskey, Orange juice, Cranberry juice, Grenadine) ??
OR of course the Flaming Lamborghini (Kahlua, Sambuca, Blue Curacao, Bailey's irish cream)...yummm!!! Bartendress needs to whip up one of those just to test it out...maybe add a lil coffee...anyone else?? Perk up yer morning, kiddies?
thanks to webtender for recipe assistance

Good morning, ladies!! Holy hell, i'm happy to see you today!
Hey, sis - no, i haven't seen her... but if she turns up in social service housing i usually get a letter within 6-8 weeks. i'll let ya know.
my day's pretty good! i've been super productive at work and at home (hence my sort of absence here...hmm) but really need a cuppa joe - haven't had one yet today, and am sort of trying not to smoke - only three yesterday and not one yet today. but i'm starting to bug....
can someone full me in on Kristines? I really can't take the time to read over 40 pages of bar thread...
