my need runs DEEEEEP

Post by chickenlover » Thu Jan 06, 2005 2:08 pm

If anyone, anywhere know where I can get my hot little hands on a pair of Swear Alternative kiss boots in the blue camoflauge (sp?) size 81/2 or 9 US I will, in addition to paying for them, tend your bar for a night, be your camps personal slve for a day, polish all of your boots, be eternally grateful...conditions are workable
They happen to be discontinued and are hot as a motherfcker and the fine folk who don't make them anymore are less than helpful thank you for helping to make the playa a tad more uncomfortable for my feet!

I gotta disagree pretty heartily on the commerce call. CL is not selling a thing.

now, misfiled? Sure. Try the share folder dear.

oh. ok....

not that i begrudge a bird some boots.

also, remember all the hoopla over people bartering with 'i'll do this or that for your camp?' people always razzed them for commerce, too.

but yes, ALSO misfiled.

I would not classify it as commerce because she is not trying to sell anything (like a live show for example). Also, the fact that these items are not commercially available anymore also polishes the point for me.

just curious, would this be more acceptable to the community if it was in the share folder?

I don't know. As to the commerce issue, I did provide a link (to Hum Despot, yet) to a South African yesterday who was going to come in and buy supplies. For me that did not cross the line (even though it's definately NOT a preferred vendor) because I just couldn't see not letting *him* have the basic information for his project if he's gonna come and do that. So, I guess what I'm saying is that I"m squishy on the exact boundaries of commerce. Not sure where this should go, although I can say it doesn't exactly fit into the "General Discussion" flow for me.

If it's commerce then anyone saying, "Let's share a car rental/gas/I'll drive if you provide the vehicle/you bring the coffee and I'll bring the water" would also be commerce. Come on, people.
