There are light flurries, I haven't seen the weather, but you be careful on your trip M.

Is the Navel Reserve at St. Paul's little airport or at the twin cities airport?

It'll be a minute for the rolls to get crisp.

Thanks for the weather update, Z and thanks. Glad I have a truck!
My Reserve center is right off 34th & Crosstown on the big airport.

Yeah, they're never as good when you nuke 'em. They don't get crispy. We have a toaster oven but it takes SO long for them to get done and sometimes I'm rushing.

Just wondering because the gun ships from the air national guard are always flying over my house in formation as the fallow 35E north on the weekends. they are out of Sr. Paul.

Actually that is a little more rare these days, they might be deployed.

They might be deployed. I know I still see the Air Force jets flying around here. Saw them last night actually, out flying at dusk. Cool.....

Z & I were just talking about a company here in Minnesota that makes pizza rolls.
Oh, and I wasn't sure if Z was heating up the pizza rolls or maybe coffee rolls...oh crap! I really mean COFFEE CAKE! Geesh!

Pizza rolls I get: some fancyschmancy freezer-to-microwave thing invented so that non-stay-at-home-mothers don't have to worry about cooking.... or something...

and I get 'caramel rolls'... like Cinnabun or some shit (that stuff always smelled so good, but ended up always giving me a tummy ache)

But "coffee rolls"? Coffee beans, nestles in a thick dough??

Confused.

(oh, and did I metion that I may be a bit on the cynical and surly side today? Fair warning)

Coffee rolls/cake is kinda like a flatter version of carmel rolls only they usually have a frosting stuff on top and not carmel.
Dang Z, come help me out here!

I love chocolate covered coffee beans and biscotti! YUM!

mkay... You say COFFEE CAKE and I'm right there with you...

and usually, coffeecake is drier than caramel rolls... so it goes well with the coffee...

that's funny, though. leave it to the scandanavians: coffee cake. I can see them now "hmmm, I really want to eat cake for breakfast, but that wouldn't be very RIGHT of me.... I know! We'll name it Coffee cake and then it'll be fine!"

The same reason muffins were invented. Dessert, for breakfast.

Hey, I'd get sick of oats after a while, too...

Well, sometimes the coffee "cake" is more like "rolls" so you can break them off easier. Sorry, my bad.
Do you want some more coffee and maybe biscotti before I go crawl under the blanket for a nap?

I miss having my internet at home. I am going to have words with the landscaper people. They should not be cutting peoples wires and shit. It took me almost two hours to get caught up from yesterday.

Much love to you all. I will be back in shortly.
