I love when I get so much wasabi in my mouth that it makes my ear drums hurt. Ever get that? I always make sure to do it at least once every time I have sushi. Some places the wasabi paste is so crappy it takes a teaspoon of it to get that effect. One place it wasn't possible to do it at all. I was not impressed.

You actually have to remind yourself of this? I thought it was instinctual...one of those things passed down in racial memory since time immemorial.geekster wrote:Never buy wine in a screw-top bottle.

guys...a wine expert on NPR (OK now the insults) actually said that there are rather good wines in screw top bottles these days...I still resist this notion but there you gave it...

There are some good wines with synthetic corks, but most of them still resist the stigma of the screwtop. Only snobbery keeps the cork in place...

Yeah, screw tops are getting more popular in Australia. They've done studies that show the quality is better then with corks, easier to control what happens to the wine.
