I really need coffee. I have to walk my daughter to school this morning. I left my keys in the other car and it is at her work right now. :( I called and told them I was having "car trouble".

GE, do you have that "IDIOT" stamp handy? Could you stamp me right in the middle of the forehead, please?

Wasn't full at the time. I still have the metal bits around here somewhere in case I get off my ass to order a replacement. How long do you let your coffee steep in yours, anyway? Mine never came out right. Maybe I ground the beans too fine.

And now....let's have a cup.

Sounds like a perfect morning kickstart. I am not wanting to be here today. I even brought a DVD in to play in the background while I work. I am so bad of an employee.

aw, fuckit, buckit... just go to a thrift store.. I always see full sets there for about a buck...

I let mine steep for about 5... but yes, too finely ground will be bad... then it gets all gritty...

also, I use more grounds than I would in a conventional coffee maker...

but I also like my coffee really dark...

dj: why are you a bad employee? You're not supposed to have music??

Tisha! Geekster! GE! It's a Par-tay!

I am off the phone and trying to decide whether to go back to the office or enjoy the silky silence of a Monday afternoon at home alone.

I'll have to go out eventually to get a few things in the mail, but perrrrrhaps, I'll jus stick around here a bit and see what unfolds.
