Heli, are you in Death Valley?
Man, in 2002 I flew out to cali to bring drive my car home. It was either July or August, the latter most likely. Anyways, we left in the morning and had to drive through DV mid-day and it was about 105 there? It's a dry heat though right? My car has no A/C and was packed to the gills with crap. We blew out a shock when one of the rear tires bulged from the heat. We barely made it to some town I can't remember the name but there was a place called Buffalo Bills, it was about 50 miles from Vegas. We had to have a tow truck come and get us. It was SO hot! We got towed back to vegas and I had made reservations at the Excalibur (old place but it had a Krispy Kreme YUM!) The next day I limped my car to a repair shop and got a tire and shocks.
Was a HECK of a drive I tell you! WHEW!

I wonder how many other people drive out to the playa with no a/c? I kick myself now that I didn't get a truck with a/c, I figured ....hey, it's MN who needs it! ME!

Dang, I need another drink!

Wish Guin would get here soon, she could make you one of those honey, lemony drinks.

What's the name of the town that Buffalo Bills is in? I can't remember. Actually, we didn't drive right through Death Valley. We saw a sign that said Death Valley 70 miles. We stopped in a hole in the wall town that stunk to high heaven!! Gas was like a bazillion dollars 'cause there's no more gas for a long time once you get back on the road. It really reeked there!

Primm....that's the name of the town. I kept thinking Platt. Duh!
I won't be driving that car back out there. I'm driving my truck out (with no a/c)! I don't no why I'm so worried about having no a/c to go out there with. Windows down, rolled up sleeves on the tshirt going whatever speed it is out there should work!

good evening once again, fellow bar patrons...

in answer to whether the picture would help with Utilikilt sales, I have talked with steven, and he says "no.".

That, as they say, is that.

I don't mind the Honey Weiss, M, but for an amber, I'll take a Red....

I prefer Honey Weiss mixed half-n-half with Berry Weiss in the summer: Honey Beery....

This is gonna have to be the last one before I go. Gotta get up at 5 again. Is it friday yet? I'm ready for it to be!
Heli, you ever homebrew your own beer? I have hops vines in the backyard, everywhere! I've never gotten around to making my own though.
Guin, welcome back! One Leinie's Red coming up.
I haven't tried a Berry Weiss. I'm thinking I will have to.

Thanks M!

TRY BERRY WEISS.. but, if you don't like too sweet brews, do the half-n-half with honey....
