Snow on the Playa?

I just saw on TV that it has snowed something like 4 feet of snow has fallen in Reno. Does this mean there is snow on the Playa?

How about Snowingman?

Check out the weather link - says Winnemucca is under "Heavy Snow Warning" and that closer to Gerlach is "Hazardous Weather Outlook" for what it's worth-

Well, there's not a "Snowingman" that I know of, but some Coloradans occasionally do the "Freezingman"

Looks like it is going to be 14 degree tonight! Did not know it got that cold there.

Water usually pools and freezes on the playa. But I have never been there during the winter months. Reno did get quite a barrage of snow though, more than I can ever recall.

Yep. I met with an elderly longtime local here today and he told me there had not been a snowstorm like this since 1912.
