With the wind storm that hit last nite My knew shade got a good test.
I have it up to work under. The wind throw everything it had. we be standing this morning.[/b]

It's a 10x10 easey up. Had in the winds of 01-02. Am going with it and a wraped van. Last year i peged 1/2 of a large tarp to ground. Then drove the van onto it. After that, i took the other half up over the van. It keeps the wind swirls down. Adding a reflective tarp helps cut the heat. Also it diapers the van in case of oil leak. With a ground tarp clean up time is much quicker breaking camp.

thanks, and good idea with the oil tarp.
i like the reflective tarp idea as well.

we've used two wind deflecdtors in the past -(plywood sheet with easle backs.) works VERY well, staked down.
