hell yeah for the guitar center sale.
now i have a gig bag for my steel string instruments. (the only guitar out of - gak! - four that has a decent case is the one i rarely play anymore. the ones i use for gigging are either in cases that can't handle rain or that don't have latches that work.)
the guy at GC told me it was beer proof. I tried to get him to give me a beer to test the theory. it almost worked. i think it might have if he'd actually HAD any beer.

I just saw...get ready for this...the teaser for THHGTTG! Hell fucking yeah! And I thought the project was going to die when DNA did. May 6, 2005. I need a red marker and a calendar.

No fucking clue.
I think I'm the emergency replacement for someone. Why else would I be given a dance role (eek!)?
It's Fridays and Saturdays in February so I'll have almost no time to learn the steps.
It's being put on by drag queens and I do believe it's going up at The Cuff... which would be a leather bar.

Hell yeah! Just got done meeting with the production crew for Exorcist The Musical.
I'm the Panda. What the fuck is a panda doing in Exorcist The Musical? No fucking clue. But I dance around in a creepy looking panda suit, die during the Panda Song and come back as a Panda Angel.
And maybe play air guitar. And there's maybe some sexual tension somewhere between the panda and the little girl... I'm not sure I caught that bit as we were all momentarily distracted by some of the gay porn playing in the background at The Cuff (a rather stunning and well endowed young man jumping up and down. everyone seated at the table nodded their heads just a little bit as he did so).
It looks like it *won't* be performed there... just rehearsed. Pity, that.

hell yeah, gnosis's redesign of our website is puuuuurdy! now if i go back and fix all the nitty gritty bs from the crash last year....
further hell yeah, heard good things about me from some of the riot folk musicians that i played with last week. well, second or third hand. but musicians' compliments - and criticisms - are the ones i tend to listen to. not that i don't ever listen to the rest of ya'll, but sometimes you don't know what you're talking about.
hell yeah.

Notice that Bach was a protestant organist.stuart wrote:I think I just got woodmixolydian... no parallel fifths
I remember one of my theory instructors explaining why parallel fourths were O.K. but parallel fifths were verboten (even though bach broke this rule repeatedly). It was like some priest trying to explain the trinity.
