Kristine's son broke his elbow. Took three surgeries and he had a systemic infection as a complication of the first surgery. It was about that much too.

I'm thankful as well. I could have been sooooooo much worse. But I'm walking and almost back to normal. I also have a few extras, like cool surgical scars and a titanium rod in my bone, as well as a cool travel card that says i'm part cyborg.
