ahh college, well I started at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. But maybe I should start before that. I dropped out of high school. I attended an alternative school before I left, but I had a lot of trouble. I've got ADD you see. Always have trouble finishing things, trouble writing papers. Anyways, at MCAD I started out okay, but took on way too many classes. Had sixteen classes on my plate. At mid semester I was behind in one of my classes. Then started to have trouble close to finals. Couldn't finish things, had a breakdown, skipped classes for a week and hid in my room. Made a lot of other stupid mistakes.

Hiya Blue!!

Well, we got to the party late, after social hour, but that was ok. Ate dinner and they handed out driver's awards.
I was shocked at getting a Veteran Driving Award!!

Ms Surly Tart wanted to tell everyone hello. I just spoke to her a little bit ago. She is trying her best to make it back to Seattle tomorrow night. The roads here are pretty fucked right now but hopefully will thaw enough to allow travel.

Nah, Z.....I was never active duty. I went to Bootcamp and then went right into the Reserves. I called called up after 9-11 and got sent to Guam. It was really beautiful there. I wish I could've been there under different circumstances though since some of the higher ups were assholes to work for.
Snorkeling there was spectacular!! I had never snorkeled before. Each time I went I was amazed by all the cool things I saw.

Everything is really expensive there. Beer is $8 a bottle (off base). You're limited to how much liquor you can buy and take off base. Crap like that. Look beautiful though. I guess after to going to Guam (16 hours on a plane) I just don't feel like going too far anymore. Except of course to BM!!

One of my favorite books...Dragon Quest.
I had a tattoo artist(in Guam, everyone was getting tats) take it right off the book cover. It looks MUCH better in person!

Z, I've never gone to sci-fi cons but I think I will add that to my "Must Do List".
A friend of my goes to all the Zena conventions. But I didn't get hooked on that.
