LeChat, sounds like you had a rough day. Hope things turn out better with the railing.

Oh... I try to take a Zen-like approach. It isn’t bad or good, necessarily, simply what it is. But I’ll not let it stop me from milkin’ it...

Oh, oh... a little more to the left... ouch... yep... that’s the spot.

Hey, I notice that both Blue and Zulegoona are up there in Minnisoter. One of my friends is on her way back to St Paul at this very moment from Texas. She went to BM with us in '04. Small, wacky world...

yes, there was a discussion the other nite about how the minnesotans are way over represented in the bar.

there are some odd connections around here Like GE being a Minnesotan who went to Luther across the border in Iowa where Rain also went to school.

(Downing the last sup and sliding the all-gone-but-the-foam glass to the other side of the bar along with a generous tip)

yep... the buddy of mine in Louisville is actually from Minn. also. Go figure...

And from the sounds of it, we're all that's left here in this place... everyone else has done R-U-N-N-O-F-T.

And it’s well past my bedtime, now that I think about it. I think I’ll just sleep ‘till I wake up in the morning.

Ahh, hell... I don't care if you're all just one person, good company's good company. Adios and good night, everybody... Thanks for the gift of your time. Perhaps I’ll see you on the morrow...

blueniteowl sticks the Amelie soundtrack into the radio, with rag in hand she swirls and dances to the music. The look in her eyes is far far away, but she thoroughly wipes down the bar, tables and chairs. She swirls and twirls and washes the dishes. She checks the ph in the hot tub, mops the floors. Then steps out of her bartending shoes and sets them on the shelf. Into her jacket and boots she grabs her bag and the keys. Turns down the lights, steps outside, locks up and dances off into the night.

Ahhhhh. Walked in when everyone else was walking out. Story of my life.

Well, anyway, glad this place has no last call. Big reason why I moved to Vegas for a while: no closed bars. Ever. Why can't the rest of this supposedly free country adhere to that simple principle? :cry: It was a free country, once...

* Bambi pokes his nose in to see whats happening* Wow its really unnervingly clean in here. Maybe I'll mess things up a bit just sos I can feel a little more at home. At least I can get the smell of coffee going in here. Can you all make this place look a little more lived in? I'm just going to go sit over next to the snuggle blanket and spread out my Sunday paper. COFFEES ON!

{as per request: giggles lugs in large trashbag full of culled toys and scatters them around; next she takes a pot of macaroni and cheese and flicks noodles around hte room in odd places, squishes her hand around in the pot and then touches various barstools, table tops and door knobs, with a couple streaks on the wall for good measure; lastly she takes a glass of mild and pours it in the middle of the floor.}

There.

* Bambi looks up from his newspaper * Giggles, I did'nt mean trash the place, I just meant, make it looked a little more lived in. Thanks for the entertainment. Your fingerprints and the scattering of toys was a very nice touch though!

Bambi, may I just say you look lovely this morning, watching the squirrels throw stuff at your dogs. I enjoy watching squirrels. The Beau enjoys eating them.

Not sure, actually. I'll ask next time I see him. I've not eaten it either, although I'd try it if he brought it around. Right now I've got a whole bunch of duck breasts in hte freezer he brought down last weekend. Lots of soft pretty feathers, too.
