Damn, Badger. You've got great taste in music.

God, you're fast in replying. Yeah, I used to be a big Kate fan back in the '80's. By coincidence I had a big drunken discussion about The Dreaming on New Years Eve with a friend that was letting me crash at her apt (she happened to be playing it).

You know that the cover image is lovingly stolen from avant-garde filmaker Maya Deren? And the song Suspended in Gaffa... it took me twenty years of searching before finding out that gaffa is Brit slang for duct tape. I thought that it was a place. Ha.

My little bit of synchronicity....

I've just recently been introduced to her... I like her, though, because she's got her own sound...you know right away when you hear her.... I like that...

sorry, Stuart. Didn't mean to. You have to realize that, though I am 25, the first 23 of those years were spent in Minnesota, in a town that makes Mayberry look like a thinktank.

I was sheltered, dear one.

forgive?

This is not the Verve from Ireland... this is a remixed CD of people like Nina Simone, Sarah Vaughan, Dinah Washington, Billie Holiday and the likes. Remixed by Dorfmeister, Thievery Corp, etc.

Great album.

KWAX-FM, my friend...they're playing Berlioz's The Damnation of Faust. Just finished Parts I and II, and III and IV are about to start.

Berlioz's Roméo et Juliette always works for me. Wish they'd clean up the older version by Toscanini.
