hubby took this one of one of our lovely hosts of the shindig on sunday. I thought it was a good one for this thread.

I'm just not in the mood for alcohol tonight (again). I think I'll sit over by the hookah...

They got any music in this dive or what? Where the hell is Sandwichman when you need him?

Girl, you keep the weirdest hours... And this is coming from a confirmed vampire. I worked graveyard shift back in the day and it seems I never got over it. Nowadays, I work swing, but like to stay up until forever.

But you're two (2) hours ahead! In freakin' MN, for god's sake.

Woman, what are you doing awake at this hour? Hmmm?

I'm not called the blueniteowl for nothing. It's only two here and I usually don't go to bed until five or six. Though I'm unemployed right now so it's also easier to sleep until there are good things on tv.

P.S. I'm also a confirmed vampire

and I must say I may have to get in here earlier, it's been getting a little lonely.

Right now I'm trying to update my resume (though I'm finding plenty of ways to avoid it) and look for jobs and other fun stuff like that.

yea thanks. I think it's even harder for me because I've been out for the last five months healing a broken leg. It's gotten rather nice not to have to go to some crappy low paying job, and I've been getting so much fun creative stuff done.

Dvd, most of the creative stuff has been on the crafty end of things at the moment. Some sewing, knitting and what not.

Nice to meet you tony

So it would seem DVD! Tohono isn't actually my last name though. It is actually an American Indian Tribe (Tohono O'odham) from the south west. It was also the name of one of my bands, and that is where I picked up the nickname.

I will say it is nice to have you around again.

not everyone thinks so but of those that don’t think so....they seem to be out numbered.

The sabbatical was well needed but it's nice to be back though.

I shouldn’t be up this late. I have to work early tomorrow.

I work for myself but need to stay disciplined ya know.

If you think this is likely to continue for a couple of days, buy yourself a case of SlimFast* cans and put it in the fridge. I used to be really bad about not eating until I got too nauseous to do so; the SlimFast would get some balanced calories in me while I got back to a point where I could consider real food. (And it's chocolate, which is always a good thing when you're stressed. *grin*)

* I'm using "SlimFast" as a generic here; if you have a preferred brand of pre-mixed diet drink, by all means stick with that.
