actually, Ensure is better: good stuff for your body. my mom used to keep it in the fridge at my house in MN, for backup.

that's a great idea, purple. thank you. I think i'll get some on my way into work...

*Tall dark stranger stumbles into the bar with a case of sniffles... it appears that he is not going to work today... he wanders over to the never ending blanket and finds it occupied. He very carefully raises an edge and slides in next to a small, sleeping form. He cuddles in close to her, closes his eyes, and begins to doze...*

A note in purple ink is found left on the corner of the bar. Picking it up, a patron reads:

Hi, guys. I just called in dead; badly swollen lymph nodes, barking cough, the whole bit. I'm sure this is going to destroy my rep at the temp agency, but it beats covering the office in lung butter.

I'm going back to bed; I may stop by again later, but don't count on it.

Hugs,
Koosh

*Tall dark stranger lifts his head from the blanket.... wonders if he dreamed of non existence for an hour or so, then gives it up as a metaphysical puzzle best left tangled, snuggles back into his partner, and goes back to sleep...*

There's always room under the blanket, and that is a good idea.... the thought of going back to work just makes me wiggle down deeper into the folds here...

*In rush men in yellow hazmat suits and begin construction building a sick room for the bar. The men finish in record time and dash out onto the playa.*

Good morning everyone. I will have a bit of whiskey to start the day and none of the good stuff but just cheap ass whiskey that will melt the paint of the hood of a car. Back to work for now. Hope the sickies are feeling better soon.

Haven't had to worry about that one in several years... dammit!

Actually, I think I just have a work related disability: apathy. I hope to be better tomorrow, but, hey... who cares...

Whew! Hey guys. Goddamn eplaya went down on me, then came back up as i'm getting busy.

Had a major freakout this morning - they arrested sixteen people and demolished a house in my west bank city today. there's a photo of a guy trying to save stuff that looks eerily like my best friend over there.

I freaked out and called, but he's ok. It's the home of a guy i met, a dude who runs a children's center. criminal, i know.

anyway, it's been one freak out after another today.... but a good day all the same.

how are all of you?

oh, btw, AntiM and Ivy get drinks on my tab all day today in honor their birthdays.

I don't know if it is your issue but mouths are very hard to animate correctly. There is so much movement in that area from different muscles that it is really difficult to imitate without looking fake.

A person who shits on anothers dreams is usually digging for a way to make them feel better about their own social inadequecies. The first time my father told me he was proud of me was when I was 22. Can you imagine 22 years without any real sense of knowing if you were accepted by one of the most influential figures of your life. He has slowly come to learn that he cannot force his shortcomings or inability to follow his dreams upon my life. I learned over years to stop sharing my dreams with those negative people. I only share my successes and try to learn from my failures.

That is my late night wisdom for ya. Your mileage may vary.

Jason

PS I think I am out for the night. Thanks for all who listened in. If I am stuck home tomorrow expect more.
"Beware of people who _______your dreams, small people do that." I forgot the rest of the quote and the author. Mark Twain comes to mind, but maybe that's another quote on the same subject. I have a couple of ex boyfriends that that applied to. (only 70some pages to go.)
