Nipples, are you coming back? *sniff sniff*
oof. I'm researching re-housetraining for my pooch. When he's at home, he's fine, but when I'm at my SO's, he pees on everything.
He's got a week, and then he's no longer allowed to come over any more... which means that I won't be allowed to either!

Medium well it is... I’m using only ground buffalo sirloin tonight, so you know.

I’m a Humane Soc. Volunteer, and so usually shy away from breeds, but this Kuvasz (hungarian) was given to me by a friend. Such a wonderful disposition and good with children. If I ever get another dog (other than a pound pup), I’ll get another Kuvasz. Just wonderful animals...
GE, can you crate train? that's the standard method.

I think that one his main problems is that my so's house is so big. and it just doesn't seem logistical to be able to supervise him 100%, even when we're IN the house.
crate training would be crating him whenever we were unable to supervise him, right??
just seems so cruel, to crate him up like that...
also, my so has his own dog: I feel bad if G-O-D (say gee-oh-dee) gets the run of the house, but Mercutio has to be crated...
any suggestions??

Goodnight sputnik...
GE, Crate training isn’t that bad if you get one that’s big enough for him. Most crates are bigger than a doghouse. Besides, he’ll just be in there for a while, right? It really is pretty standard, and believe me... I’m a super-duper animal lover. I’d never advocate anything cruel. He won’t (generally) potty while he’s in there and then you can get him out, take him to outside first thing, and reward him with a treat and some good lovins. I’ve seen it work many times.
I think I'm off as well folks. I gotta get up early in the morning and hit the road. But I get a beer in Louisville while I'm there tomorrow night. Whoo-Hoo!!!
(black cat raises one paw and with a wink and a nod, he begins to fade into the air until all that's left is a whisker on the floor)

Went to a BDSM party with a friend (and occasional playpartner) a few years ago; there was a hair fetishist there. She spent probably ten minutes just sitting behind me, working her fingers into my hair, and then just dragging through slowly as she buried her face in it. It was heavenly.

Awww....GuinivereElise wrote:I miss people playing with my hair: when I had long hair, people petted me often.. with short hair, it's like my scalp doesn't exist...
When petting people with short hair, I'm fondest of the back of the neck (particularly if it's a close-cut style), but I've know people that tends to bother. What's your pleasure, m'dear?

well, my hair's not THAT short so as to bother me... (i'll show you in a second)...
I just like to have fingers run through my hair. right behind the ears is a good spot.
I have had a theory for a while: watch a woman for about 20 minutes, and you'll see how she likes to be touched.
why?
because we do it ourselves.
women shift their hair, touch their own shoulders, arms, etc. If you watch, you'll see how and where she likes to be touched. (perfect example: lots of women pull their hair behind their ears: well, right behind the ears is a huge erogenous zone for most women... mindlessly touching a place that feels good... )
me, I tend to play with the hair at the back of my neck, running my fingers UP through it. I also play with my collarbone alot, running my fingers across the bones there.

*giggling*
I get that exact reaction from a lot of people when I tell my theory.
it's a highly feminine trait: we'll mindlessly run our fingers over our inner forearm... or trace a pattern on our thigh...
it's also one of the things that effeminate men tend to pick up on, which is, conversly, why people assign femininity to them: they'll do the exact same thing, often.
