Sputnik is on a Vicodin™ lawfully perscibed perscription this week!

I gotta go get a barrel of pickles & a dozen gallons of pickled eggs.
Am really glad no knuckle or gizzard eaters are in the crowd.
Those things freak me out, giggling & wiggling all brownish grey
on the passenger floorboard with the heater on.

hi y'all...

lemme jus' confirm the powers of the univers whilst i share a pickeled something...

i woke up this morning crying with the weight of my life... kids, p/t arts work, debts falling out of my ass... i recognized the need to reach up out of this hole and made a deal with the universe that if i asked, i would accept - nay, even *embrace* whatever was given...

so i invite some gals over for dinner and emergency brainstorming before i lose everything... and end up with an invite to share a 4 bdrm house with another single mom saving me $400 a month, sharing meals and childcare, and not really changing anything else i love about my life...same town, same distance to job/schools/downtown... same yard, washer/dryer...

i left this bar today thinking i'd be homeless and screwed by next month, but toasted, "here's to whatever comes next..." less than 10 hours later, everything's practicaly comin' up roses.

I'm excited! I made an amazing new friend! Yay! And it's a lovely lovely day, really warm and sunny (is this January still???) And my folks are keeping my kiddos for me tonight! WOO HOO!

Right now I'm playing w the kids camera trying to get a picture that looks like how I feel. It's already broke a little, so it's kind of hard. Maybe this one.....

She's got super connectivity.....she knows who to put me in touch w for a ride...... I got the email confirmation that the ticket was sent..... I'M GONNA BE THERE!!!!

I think I hurt the beau's feelings though when he realized I was making plans to go without him. Not that we had talked about going together or anything of that sort..... *sigh* I have to do this 'on my own' so to speak, or else it just won't work, I think. I also think I want to move to Holland.

Hey- I still don't have my tickets. I ordered them on the 5th. Do you think I should be concerned and ask about them? I did get payment confirmation and everything- other country delivery would take longer but how much longer?

i don't either. i followed their tracking bit and it said very little, but it sounds like they gave it to the US mail on J16... so any day now....
