More Madonna

Post by ohafirenymph » Sat Apr 24, 2004 6:37 pm

This has just been sent to me. I don't believe it for a second. But, then again. . .

A spokeswoman for Madonna, who requested she not be identified, said it was likely Madonna would once again "fit in" at Burning Man and she "thanks the community for annonimity and one thousand Madonna lookalikes that make it a lot more fun for me, my friends and family." Once again, our source refused to disclose Madonna's BRC address, plans, method of travel, accomdations or "even where she will DJ."

Holiday Celebrate
Holiday Celebrate

Chorus:

If we took a holiday
Took some time to celebrate
Just one day out of life
It would be, it would be so nice

Everybody spread the word
We're gonna have a celebration
All across the world
In every nation
It's time for the good times
Forget about the bad times, oh yeah
One day to come together
To release the pressure
We need a holiday

(chorus)

You can turn this world around
And bring back all of those happy days
Put your troubles down
It's time to celebrate
Let love shine
And we will find
A way to come together
And make things better
We need a holiday

Holiday Celebrate
Holiday Celebrate

Holiday Celebrate
Holiday Celebrate

Holiday, Celebration
Come together in every nation

There is not enough alcohol in the world to induce a britney crush, personally speaking. And my madonna crush existed pre-alcohol, btw.

You must be my Lucky Star
'Cause you shine on me wherever you are
I just think of you and I start to glow
And I need your light
And baby you know

Chorus:

Starlight, starbright first star I see tonight
Starlight, [starbright] make everything all right
Starlight, starbright first star I see tonight
Starlight, [starbright] yeah

You must be my Lucky Star
'Cause you make the darkness seem so far
And when I'm lost you'll be my guide
I just turn around and you're by my side

(chorus)

Come on shine your heavenly body tonight
'Cause I know you're gonna make everything all right

You may be my lucky star
But I'm the luckiest by far

Okay, whatever, DVD. I think you are full of shit, or is it just this cheap wine talking?

Personally speaking, Madonna rules the world, and britney is a twentysomething twit (as all twntysomethings are).

Well I dont know about Madonna's music. It's ok. In fact, if it were'nt for Bernard Edwards and Nile Rogers she would'nt be where she is.....well not as big anyway.
I like Madonna for who she is not her music per se.

And no I have'nt started drinking yet.

Can you belive I said all that sober?

What I really dig is that the first time this post was out (last April 04) it died in its tracks. And now it is revived and it has 15+ responses.

If you ask me Madonna and Bono can go get married and live happily ever after. [/code]

Madonna seems a bit high-maintence to attend the event to me.

And while certain burners may like her for whatever reasons, she's not really a burny icon (whatever that means) except, perhaps in her bid to be all out famous without any real talent. That is so burningman.
