Sorry about that! And on that note......
{falls straight back and begins softly snoring on the spot}
Just kidding. I've always been a real light sleeper, gotta have some peace adn quiet (sounds as though I will be SOL at BM, huh), though I have been told I snore.
good night children! Have fun!

LeChat, I don't know reds very well. But I know what I like in whites. I perfer foreign whites. American, californian whites tend to be really oaky and woody in flavor. Chardonnay is more dry, while Pinot Grigio leans to the sweet and fruity side of things. Generally I'm finding that I like mixes of things. I have this really nice Austrailian Chardonnay / Semillion 60/40 mix that tastes mighty nice.
Anyways, try this and tell me what you think.
Wine all around.

On the topic of different wines (or different whatevers for that matter), it is interesting how, if you stop and listen to them, you can focus your senses quite a bit and pick out minute details of taste, smell, sight, sound and even touch.

In the book Undaunted Courage, (if I'm remembering correctly) it talks about Lewis and Clark (along with York... a very important and oft forgotten member of that expedition) being able to hear the roar of the Pacific some 50 miles inland. Now, to this day, that ocean is still making just as much noise, but just 50 miles from it and try to hear the waves. It's still there, but it's both drowned out by the subconscious drone of autos, planes and factories. We tune it out along with all the other white noise that pollutes our ears every day.

I must say that I think that it can be detrimental when we stop listening to nature, and become disconnected from it. It could just be that I'm a taurus and very down to earth. But nature, plants, dirt, they all energize me. You should see me in April. I tend to go a little nutty. I've quit many jobs in April.

Interesting you say this... I’ve found this to be the case for me for several years now. Never static of constant... always ebb and flow the best I can do. Don’t know much about moon signs, but I know I drew my first breath of air one Saturday afternoon in early May.I'm in an eternal struggle for balance. Reality vs. Fantasy, practicality vs. dreams.
