Cowboy I respect the fact that you have strong convictions, I may not agree with them, but at least you stand up for what you believe in. I don't know that many other people who do that.

Oh I'm not afraid of a little eyliner and lipstick once in awhile, I just did'nt want you all to think it was a profession, when it was really only recreational, with me anyways.

As I'm sure other parents are as well.

PeTA's educational outreach effort to kids has been an overwhelming success it'd seem. I mean, what parent wouldn't want these comics randomly passed out to class of their 6 and 7 year olds while standing in line outside a theatre to watch the Nutcracker.

I can't imagine anyone showing it to 6-7 year olds. I think it would scar them for life and give them nightmares. My kid is 19. I just introduce things to her and let her make her own decisions and conclusions. I confess I probably shouldn't have made her watch it, but it wasn't like she didn't have the remote in her hand and couldn't turn it off if she felt uncomfortable with it. Matter of fact, after the DVD I asked her how did it make her feel and she said, "I feel like a fucking hamburger, Mom!" Sick sense of humor, I know. I have no idea where she gets it from.

FYI ~ That dog on my avatar was starving and abused and now has healthcare, food, and sleeps under the covers with his head on the pillow. I guess you don't read PETA's success stories.

He's right. PETA genuinely opposes the keeping of pets. I guess we're supposed to turn them loose into the wild.
