Z, I'm usually pretty good and only to one or the other. Though, I often knit while watching tv, and I try to do other things while on the computer but not much gets done.

Jameson's, Maker's Mark, or both? Or something else? Here, let me pour you a shot of each and you can decide which is best.

While you're checking out the shots I'll leave this bottle of Ketel One behind the bar in case anyone wants some.

*DVD pops his head through the door of the bar*

Man is it quiet in here. Just as well anyway. I need to get some sleep after this totally super long productive day.

Plain ole 8 O Clock coffee. Fresh ground though.

Yeah the 8-O does the trick, but can I tell you a little secret?

The worker in the coffee roasters here who I think has a crush on me slipped me a pound of Kona yesterday and only charged me for Guatemala. At $20 a pound, I don't think I will be doing this again, but it is a little bit like liquid crack. Fuck, even the beans were perfectly matched.

Oh yeah, I had Kona when I was in Hawai'i. Excellent stuff.

Want some oatmeal? I made a big pot.

Oh, here's something special. I slice bananas over the top and then pour sugar over that and then put the whole thing under the broiler until the sugar carmalizes...

Yowza! That sounds amazing. Yes. Gimme gimme. It's snowing again here and that'll make the morning shovelling a little easier. Thanks.

Coming right up.

I know we're in the bar, but about that coffee. Consider how much you'll spend on booze at a bar and how quickly it's gone. How long will a pound of coffee last? Sacrelidge I know, but it's one way to justify it.

Dee-licious!

I'll stop whispering now:

True on the cost per unit on coffee. The Java I have been grinding is about $12 per pound, so 20 smackerels is not out of sight. Depending on the number of times we brew, a pound makes coffee for two people for 5-7 days, so it's a hellofa lot cheaper than going out for it. And, yo, this shite has the kick, I've had about 12 ounces and I am beaming. I am so bringing this stuff to the playa. Damn. Let's go dancing. Yow!

I went on line this morning to check my e-mail before heading out to my "sort of temporary job" working on a friends house. my dam computer disconnected and I discovered I had a voice mail and the guy wasn't ready for me today, they didn't have what I would need so I'm not working today.

I need coffee,
I'm already eating the cold pizza I packed for lunch, I know warm beer is traditional with cold pizza but I really couldn't handle that yet.

It is a lovely day to be without a job here in arkansaw, but I've got that pent up almost spring end of winter feeling, like the sap in the trees the moment before it moves, an rubber band stretched taut....

{shoots a rubber band toward zuggie's head, misses, pours him a cup of coffee}

*Pulls 3/4 inch wide 10 inch long rubber band out of his pocket saved for just such a situation and shoots it towards Giggles lower body knowing she would turn in defense and it would nail her in the butt*

Thanks Giggles
