I was submitting that "famous last words" post and it waited and waited untyil I finally got an IE error screen about the site not responding. I opened the thread in another browser to see if the posting actually made it through. It wasnt there. So I posted it again, and got the error again. Did it a few times, got bored and went to bed. Still, the last time I looked in the other browser window, none of the posts were there. It is as if the database was being updated but couldnt be read or something. *shrug*

I just realised that things could be much worse in life no matter how bad things are. For example, you might live near here ...

What you need is an ice fishing hut (or a cluster) and then you burn something until it falls into the lake. I'll buy plane tickets to see that.

Like I said, I know this sounds mean, but since she'll never read this, and you guys don't know her...

NOTE: This has never happened to me before, but have any of you guys ever gotten the following message: "You cannot make another post so soon after your last; please try again in a short while." WTF?

the tendency or the person?

the first is something I'm working on and making progress. it's a matter of long-term healing, the roots of which i'll not open again, today, on this board. it's here somewhere.

the second is someone from whom i have some distance, but would prefer not to renounce entirely. people fuck up. it happens.

Like Einstein's thought exercize of the train travelling at the speed of light, and yet the light in side the train is also moving at the speed of light and so it shouldn't illuminate anything in the train, but should be suspended as waves in the car... however, it isn't, time is suspended instead and stretched out... which also means that space is stretched out...

I always have personal issues with when do I celebrate teh birthdays of people who were born gregorian and died julien. Do Leibnetz and I share a birth date? I can never be sure. Maybe Raliegh is a bit too old for that.

Yes'm, that shape, but mine is less hippy, more techno. Not skin and wood but synthetic and metal. I googled Toca drums looking for its picture, but alas I htink I might have the only one of its kind. Bought on a budget-type drum. Great release nonetheless to let out a good pounding on.

(two little cats suddenly appear on black cat's shoulders... one white, one red with a strangly pointed tail)

Take the tofu one

No, black cat... take the real one

Don’t listen to him black cat, he’s not being very respectful of others

Bah... listen to mister “Holier than meow” over there on the other shoulder... you know you want it

You know cat... even if you eat the tofu one... you be thinking of the real one... perhaps neither is the right choice here. Resist the urges and ascribe to a higher state of being.

Your a cat... you deserve that real parakeet

But... But...

(Head down... a low murmuring cry starts and rises slowly into deep, heaving sobs...)

I’ll just take a bowl of Purina, please.
