Oh, I remembered.... it's called an Alabama Slamma.

Can I get one for a nightcap?

3/4 oz. Southern Comfort
3/4 oz. Amaretto
3/4 oz. Sloe Gin
Splash of Orange Juice
Splash of pineapple juice
Mix all ingredients with cracked ice in a shaker or blender and pour into shot glass.

It may and it may not. Shit, I don't know! There are always exceptions to just about everything. I don't think I treat anyone any different because of their age. Unless I think it is necessary to do so.

I mean if you seem like someone who may be easily offended (which you do not - speaking hypothetically here) I'm probably going to be a little more conservative, otherwise not.

It's similar to profanity. I don't cuss around some people because I know it offends them, whereas if it doens't I am more likely to say Fuck Yeah!

And on that note I believe it is time to hit the skids and crash.

Goodnight, or uh, goodmorning if you prefer.

looking at watch

Wow, 5 am already. Suppose I should get going, and since I'm sure someone else will be in soon, I'll just put on a pot of coffee before I go.

Puts coffee on, cleans up a bit and walks into fireplace

POOF!

(Walking into the bar and looking around, surprised at how quiet the place can be at times, the black cat begins to gather wood and start a fire in the fireplace)

Judging by the soot all around the hearth, I’d say Blue’s been here. (Wiping up around the stonework).

Aha! Coffee!!

(Pouring a bit into his favorite mug, he sits down and ponders some more on the muse musings from the previous day.)

{giggles tumbles down through the skylight and lands with a little bounce behind the bar, pours a hefty shot of bailey's into a cup of coffee, and sits down with the sunday funnies in her cozy booth, with a wink and a nod to the black pussy cat}

dammit dammit dammit. It looks like someone else grabbed the funnies out of my paper first. The beau just informed me not to ever take the top paper outta the box.

*sigh*

{takes another long swig of her bailey's and coffee, feeling decadent and sinful on a sunday morning}

Why is that?

Well... if you’ve got no funnies, I’m outta here.

No... actually, I’m heading to the shop. With or without funnies, you’re company is worthy, giggles. But I’ve got to get things moving here.

I enjoyed the discussion about the muse... whether she was aware of her inspiration. Also, that we all may be muses to each other.

I'm pretty sure s/he is not fickle, but always present. That if The Muse is sense, when i am not with her i am in non-sense.

Have a spiffy day, my freinds!

Sensing a need to check in at The Bar, the black cat dives into the flaming heart of his forge and *poof* out of the flaming, swirling tongues and embers of the fireplace

Sorry Sky... hope I didn't spook you too bad.

(refilling coffee and noticing the writings of one rabbit...)
Also, that we all may be muses to each other.
Hmmm... Yes, yes... To be allowed to see the inspiration within someone and then make use of it is an honor. To unknowingly give that same encouragement to another... what more blessing is there?

Nice thought, nipples.... nice

(Pauses to dwell on that thought for a moment, then heads back to the fire, rubs Msky's leg in apology for any unintended startling, dives back in and gets back to work)

(wakes in surprise that she had dozed off and that the embers suddenly came to life? OH, a wonderful cat had emerged from the embers!)

Thank you for the Kitty hug, LeChat!

(M once again stares into the embers and ponders a craft project..........)

Peeking out of the never ending blanket

Hmmm, anyone around? Just wanted to check in. Mmmm, maybe some coffee.

stepping out of NEB, in fuzzy pajamas, gets large cup of coffee and sits infront of the fire for awhile

(Entering this time in a fashion a bit more normal... the front door, the cat is carrying something)

I brought this sign to hang up in here. Same as the one that hangs on the wall of one of my local haunts... it reads, “The Pub Is a Poor Man’s University”

Seemed like The Bar needed one too.

So, how’s it going today?

A "rock pocket" made out of Fimo clay. I got a book today that shows you how to make it. I thought about making some for gifts. It's probably already been done though.......but everybody does things differently though, right?

Oh... lysdexia strikes again. I read that as “pocket rocket” which I believe may be something different entirely. What, prey tell, is a rock pocket?

I'm good, blue. a bit lazy this Sunday, but good.

Hello, LeChat!

Well, it's like a little purse/pocket on a cord and the lid is attatched to the cord too and slides up and down to open.

Why yes it is. I was exploring wire and beading, and trying to come up with ideas that I could sell someday. I did a few that I thought would be nice as window ornaments, that would catch the sunlight. But I got bored and moved on.
