MHas your cat begun to see the advantage of the new cat door yet?
I'm sure it's not as gratifying as making you open the door for him and proving once again his power over you.

Not too bad. I'd be better if I'd actually eaten. *wry smile*

Someone came to pick up the loveseat that was in My Room* a while ago; damn near killed myself helping her father cart it down the stairs and into his truck. (Why she decided she wasn't able to pick it up, I couldn't tell you - she looked to be in far better shape than I am, that's for sure.) Was coughing fit to choke by the time I got back upstairs - it's COLD out, damnit.

*looks at time* Oh, hell - when does Costco close? I need to pick up soda.... *runs out the door*

*capitalized for a reason, but it's a long story

Oh yeah! She started using it right away. She kind of had to since I closed my door! Before when I left my door open, enough for her to come in and go out that wasn't good enough for her! She would run in and the door would open up at least a foot wide! Sheesh!

I win!!

It's kind of hard to type with a 60 pound dog trying to get on your lap.

delivery man walks through front door, and sets down a package about 2X3 feet. Then knocks on the package twice, sets a receipt down on the table and leaves. The package flaps open to reveal Blue stepping up and out. She picks up receipt, looks at it then hops off table and walks towards fridge.

Hi all, what's going on tonight?

Nice entrance Blue. I half expected you to turn this into a strip club.

M, I've worked with Fimo, what do you need to know?

No problem, Blue.
I'm wondering about cooking the clay in the oven. Wonder if it'll make it all nasty smelling inside.

I ended up digging out some of my never finished woven wire things that I have given my self the task of combining them together,.. each piece had so much time in them they had become to valuable to do the bold things I would have needed to do to make anything with them. since they've sit for years I don't feel them to be so valuable so I can approach this with an attitude of "make something of them or ruin them, either way I'm using them"

Hahahaha....

I'm laughing because of a mistake I made.

First, fimo has some odor, but it's not too bad. Also, don't plan to use the pan you bake it on for food again.

The reason I'm laughing is because one time my kids and I got out the clay and spent a lot of time making stuff, we put it in the oven and noticed a short time later a funny smell. Turns out we used regular modeling clay, not fimo. All our work had melted into a big blob on the pan and was not smelling nice.

Can I get a refill on this drink?

Oh why yes, Sputnik!

(goes behind the bar and makes another batch of Margaritas...fills a salt rimmed glass for Sput)

Oh, a clay blob?! NNOOOO! Not the BLOB!!

Perfect Margarita.

The blob was funny in retrospect, but at the time my kids were devastated.
