I don't want to be even close to being in the top twenty. Fuck.

I need to chill out on posting or something. Jesus fucking christ. How much time DO I spend on this damn board?

Gimme some booze. Straight up please. Single malt. At least old enough to bleed and breed (12 yrs).

Hey Rob .... she wanted something she could do in a grocery store? (confessions thread) ... send her in to get one carrot and a tube of KY. The look on the checker's face should be priceless.

Cuts are going to happen in services like that as the ratio of taxpayers to recipients changes. Medical expenses are growing faster than the rate of inflation. You can't increase taxes at a rate faster than inflation or you cause a real reduction in people's disposable income over time. This guarantees you will not be re-elected.

The only solutions are to A: decrease the number of recipients of benefits relative to the number of taxpayers or B: reduce the amount of the benefits. A is pretty hard since healthy young people with high paying jobs are not moving to Minnesota in droves to offset the general aging of teh population there.

Argh, don't let it pass. It's for low income adults, and he's just trying to squeeze money out of the budget, because he is republican. I think it has more to do with our growing republican x-erbs rather than our aging population
