POOF!

Blue strides in through fireplace, walks directly over to sam, kisses him on the forehead, then goes and gets herself a drink

May we all be unemployed together. We shall dance, carouse and make general mischief.

Msky! I'm having a bailey's on the rocks, as well (in real life even! I'm on a bailey's bender past couple days).

{eyeballs sam warily, not wishing to pass out}

Ms. Fishy, I don't understand exactly what is wrong with the eplaya in the first place, so I wouldn't have a clue how to fix it. It's allright by me except when it disappears, and I've no computer skills for that kind of fixing. (didja get it yet? didja, huh?)

{finishes her drink just as the sound of children drift from the portal}

gotta go. Love ya'll!

(The cat having taken note of Sam’s grand entrance, decides that he, being one to always try and add to his list of flamboyant arrivals, will try and recreate this feat... but surely with much more feline grace. He blasts through the door and begins the stunt with a fine vault into the air, but failing to take into account the low hanging chandelier (which sam so deftly missed), the cat collides and becomes firmly lodged between two of the light fixtures arms.)

So ah, sam?... (acting as though he meant to do just exactly what he had done.... become stuck upside down about 7 feet off the floor) ...you’re in a good mood today. New job working out well, is it?

hello, Ms. Sky... how are you?

Well... I kinda like the view actually. But I could use one of those Irish coffees, if you don’t mind too terribly.

Noir read the last page in the " Hell Yeah " thread for the answer of how Sam's first day of work went.

Ummm... well... I could hold it if, perhaps you could also place a straw in the cup? Yes, I think a straw would do the trick.

Zule... Life is still Very Good... and it makes me laugh out loud... I think I actually disturbed the lady who had to tell me she couldn't hire me... I felt sorry for her (not her decision to let me go... LET ME GO? I GOT FIRED!) But, that is life, and I don't know if I would have it any other way, and, I've always loved roller coasters....

It's getting dark in here. Could someone light the... um... cat?

Sam you have any clue why they don't like you,.. I mean I kind of consider myself an aright judge of character, and you seem like a great guy to me,..... am I missing some major personality flaw or what,..... did you neglect to make a pass on some on someone you should have?

gives a quick tickle to the cat, because she doesn't think she's ever heard a cat giggle before, then a quick stroke or two

Hey Sam, I love your attitude. I'm trying to be more optimistic about things myself. Makes life so much nicer doesn't it?

Kitty Cat... You made me laugh out loud... I'd say you did well... thanks.. and we'll try not to light the chandeleer while you're up there...

Zule. Ever notice the color of your hair? How far do you think a major corporation on the way up would get if it hired people with your hair color? Not very far, would it? It would have to pay health insurance, life insurance, have to put up with slower workers, more savvy workers, etc. Naw, it's that grey hair, dude... pure and simple...

Plus the fact that I tend to laugh a lot and not worry about whether or not I should be frightened of my "superiors"... which scares the hell out of them. But you know my motto: as long as they're not shooting at me, I'm okay, 'cause I've been shot at by professionals....

Lawsuit? Maybe, but not right now. I've got one more division that I am going to try (built a lot of bridges with these guys, helping them determine which is their ass, which is the hole in the ground) and they are going to give me an interview on Wednesday. If I don't get the job, so be it. If I get the job and get torpedoed again... well, we have a very fine legal system in this country that is staffed by sharks. I might hire one of them... With me, everybody get's two shots... then they're mine!!

Sam... you're gonna find something really cool... I can feel it. I think that's what I feel poking me in the back anyway...

Ok... ummm... maybe if someone could help me down? I’ve got to run out for a bit...

Please?

Oops... ladies spoke to me while I was pontificating...

Thanks, BNO... Life is very good, and it all works out if we let it... it's a tough attitude to maintain (and I have to admit, for the last two months, I didn't maintain it) but it takes a little work...

(Deep tonguing M-Sky) Thanks, Mama... I needed that...

*Checks out the spot that the cat 'marked' .... sniffs it.... then whips out Woodrow and marks the other side himself. Satisfied that his territory is secure, he addresses Zule*

When I tell people my age (fifty-seven) they can't believe it. I am more like a thirty-five year old. Ah, well... the corporate masters are all going to fall anyway... the earth cannot sustain them, and they will go.... wonder what will crop up in their place?....
