I guess we'll have to keep things suspenseful enough to keep you coming back for more.

Wow, I just realized that 75% of my 600 posts have been in the last month. Maybe it's time for me to seek professional help.

You're worse than me, blue. But I had about six months without internet access in the middle, or my post count would probably be proportionately higher. My style has certainly changed in the intervening period, thoough.

But since it's Feb, it's only six months to Aug!

I feel for ya, blue. that's the position I was in for my first trip to the Playa. Fortunately AntiM saved my ass and loaned me the money to buy my tickets.

will you speak of love
may we yet embrace this thing
elephant in room

Whew!

~shakes all over while brushing dust off in door-way~

I am romantically involved that elephants go to a graveyard to "die".

If you tell me to get a room, I'll ask for adjoining so I can knock on the Secret Door & have it open to your smile.

Back to elephants, anyways. I know this IS a bar, and we are SUPPOSED to be drinking, but they could be pink elephants, and me in delirium tremons....

When I lay me down to sleep
a thousand ants beneath my feet
when it is our time to go
the front-most ant will take in tow
all others grasp that task in rank
still it is my feet will stank.

love & shit & stuff,

fades in, then slowly focuses. Walks over to bar and picks up rag. Wipes down tables and picks up glasses. Cleans with a far away look in her eyes. Then sets the timer on the coffee pot for the morning crew. Slowly fades away to nothing

walks in the door to find a hot pot of coffee made by some kind soul(s). Pours a cup, smiles and heads back out into the star filled sky

~~~~~~heli crumbles into the bar, pours a grande cup of Sput's coffee, heads back out to herd the hollywoods(see dictionary for definition of overtime $$$$$$$$) for the second of three days. Thinks to self, "This is worth it because I can get birthday and Valentines day presents for Mi Tesoro, new tent for the playa......."~~~~~~~~~
Poor Miss Elise and her throat. I'll make you a cup of tea with honey and lemon. I'm in nurturing mama mode right now. You really ought to drink a tea with slipper elm bark in it to make your throat better.
M walks in carrying a big box of donuts, sets them on the bar. Takes a box of Licorice Root tea out of a bag and sets that down
Hello, Giggles.
Bummer about your kids being sick.
Morning Guin. Hope you feel better soon, too!
actually, my experience with slippery elm bark is that it's a topical anesthetic, and, while it makes everything feel lovely and happy, it's harmful to ME because then I cough, but I don't have the pain of coughing too hard, so I do damage to my throat... does that make sense??
and, ultimately, they don't HURT that much... it's just that they're swollen and make swollowing a little hard... and my ears are a little wonky today, too...
but, what I'm really needing is some nurturing mommy action, so bring it on, giggles! here in reality camp, it's just ME to take care of me...
