I've already tapped a few Danny Kaye songs (including Court Jester, of course)...

right now, I'm open to anything. The show is set in old Ireland (ruled by the Normans)---1405---

I've done a bit of everything for it (I've done this show for 12 years now... each year is a bit different). Like I said, I've done Danny Kaye, I've done 7 Deadly Sins from Camelot, modified something from Cinderella about jealousy... it can't have references in it to current events or whathaveyou, but I'm all about modifications...

just looking for something fresh. any and all ideas are welcome at this point. after 12 years, I'm a little stale...

I'll have to think about it for a bit. Sort through the things that would be appropriate. "The Scotsman" keeps surfacing in my head, but it's a bit wide of the mark.

well, I have a bit of time... I need to let the director know what I'm doing by the end of the week...

I'm also looking for a good limerick... so far, I haven't really been able to find something that really catches me...

(BTW, something kind of bawdy would do nicely... it's a show where the audience drinks---a lot!)

Don't go too nuts... the last thing I want is you killing yourself over my little show... don't stress yourself out about it or anything...
