Nature of Event: A gathering of like minded people in a great place to enjoy all the wonderful things that New Orleans has to offer.
Details of Event: April and I are arranging booking of hotels. We will offer a few choices in similar price ranges so that we can get a better rate based on a group booking. Transportation from Louis Armstrong International Airport to your hotel on Thursday, April 14th and back to the airport on Sunday, April 17th will run about $12 each way. With the excellent rates offered online, your best bet is to book your own airfare and let us get you hotel accommodations.
You will be asked to finalize your trip by phone with a credit card to hold your reservation. In most cases this will not be charged to your card. You will be contacted with details and will pay for your room at check in. You are welcome to make your own hotel arrangements if you prefer. We will be happy to provide suggestions.
Though you are free to do whatever you please while in New Orleans, you will be provided with a list of shows and events connected with the trip, as well as suggested hang-outs where we will congregate throughout the French Quarter.
For those musicians, dancers, DJs and assorted performers that are looking to perform at the various venues throughout the area we will be providing contact with the booking management of those venues for you to secure your contracts directly with that venue.
Friday night will be full of performances and activities in various locations all within close proximity of your hotel.
Saturday night will culminate in a major event at one of New Orleans biggest nightclubs with a full evening of entertainment that is currently being arranged.
In order to best serve your interests, a form has been set up for you to express your desires by filling in the boxes. This form does not commit you to attending the event, but rather gives us the power to negotiate with hotels and venues for the best possible deals.
