Random Information

Post by Rian Jackson » Wed Feb 02, 2005 8:32 am

Since random information needs a thread to itself.

*****************************
My new random piece of information:

So, in the area of the Arabian Penninsula called 'The Sands' (which includes many different sorts of dune formations and laces through 4 countries) there's an area of very flat salt pan.

In the photo I saw it looks a little like playa, only redder. They say that some parts of it are quite hard, while others are soft sand that will quickly mire a vehicle.

fyi- rubbermaid brand premium smooth (6mm) roller refills aren't all that great. They make lines and drop little bits off after only one coat of painting.

The basic building block of the matter in the space/time continuum is called a 'String'. Your average string, if it exists, is about 10-33 centimeters long. That's a point followed by 32 zeros and then a 1.

...Beginning in February and as the spring progresses, the word 'we' becomes increasingly important. Planets, both ones you've heard of and those you have not, make their way into Aquarius. There is, in a sense, a gathering of the tribes, or many gatherings of the tribes. Whatever we call home, it must eventually become true that the whole world is home and all of humanity is our family.

If you put 2 grams of peanut butter, 4 cc's of battery acid and 1 drop of Visine into a small copper pot and heat to 105 degrees farenheit...

... nothing happens.

well... you gotta check these things out... once in a while... just to make sure...

you can actually have masks that are fractions of a pixel in width but you will get color fringing from the projector as the light defracts around the surface of an object.

ONE:
The lens packages of old Magnavox rear-projection televisions contain large quantities of mineral oil.

TWO:

I HAD to take it apart. It was free, and broken. I couldn't stand waiting until after work to get it, thinking about some other slob carting off MY free stuff, so I left early. Freaked out a small crowd in the thrift store parking lot by demolishing the case out in the snow!

or, use the Necronomicon {the book of the dead}.

but first repeat these three words:

Clatto Verata N... Necktie... Nickel... It's an "N" word, it's definitely an "N" word!

Random fact:
rehab food is better than prison food and airplane food, its not as good as carnival food or boardwalk food, and is on about the same level as highschool cafeteria food and casino lunch buffet food...just in case anyone was wondering....

Azeotropic Solvent Recovery Systems suck up and recycle the solvent out of clothes in the tumbler of a cleaners washing machine and staores the slovent for reuse later to clean more clothes later .

If you hand make enough of these Azeotropic Solvent Recovery Systems every month you will be in excellent shape.

Too bad I dont make these machines anymore.
