Somebody just over-nuked a bag of microwave popcorn and filled the whole second floor with eye-stinging smoke. It's a good thing our smoke detectors don't work, I guess.

Update: no one will admit to putting the thing in the micro. I hate office mysteries.

On the plus side, I did take part in a brief snowball fight while out getting some air.

Wait a minute, are we talking about in bed or out of bed? I'm confused.

Hey! Hold on! I don't sleep with people at work!!! I can't believe you're insinuating that!

Circulate? Memo? Oh honey if that's your plan. . .

*fishy shakes head in sorrow*

No, no. You have to get giggles to drop something juicey yet incomplete into the conversation and then refuse to say more about it. That'll build you a reputation in no time.

Ouch. Did you get any warning? Last weekend you didn't seem aware of this. Sorry, that's fucked up.

I would offer you the position of serf- but between the shock collar and what little I would have you wear- it would just be degrading. Fun, but degrading.

So, is unemployment a new virus that's making rounds here? Why are there so many of us looking for jobs? Anyone? Well, we are all in this together. Good luck to everyone searching.

Guin ... I am so sorry. I don't know what to say but really want to say something to give you strength and encouragement. You seem like a sharp cookie and I think you will land something better. Maybe this will work out for the best. But if things really go bad, you have a safety net. Know that.
