theMrFishist has a class tomorrow, so I'm looking at some cleaning (bleh) and some art work with beads and my woodburner and going through the socks and beads for Gigglesnort and Martiansky.

My weekend- well, painting, and, um, painting. Taping the walls to paint stripes and..painting. Maybe even some stripping......off the paint. Also a party appearance in the new town to meet the people in my neighbourhood, in my neighbourhood, in my neeeighbooouurhooooddd. And working. Can't forget the working.

for the record, fishy made me chortle with her comment
my weekend...
tonight might be kinda chill as I have been hitting it hard with Larsino for the past two nights. You never know though.
Tomorrow, probably some furniture tetris in the afternoon. Do some video, get a new bed perhaps (long time coming). Dinner with friends.
Sunday, wake up and chase the ball. Afterwards it's off to the pub with my mates for a post match shandy. I will then sit on my ass and drink wine for much of the remainder of the day.

my weekend plans, so far.
1. assist in building model suspension bridge, then assist in breaking said bridge (stress test), then ensure 15 year old writes observations/results in order to turn in late paper for science instructor.buckethead alien wrote:So what's on everybody's agenda for the weekend?
2. assist in nursing 17 year old through viral infection (flu) and try not to get it myself.
3. let dogs and cats out repeatedly, feed and water... yadda yadda yadda...
4. sleep, drink Jamesons and 420 when possible.
5. make love with spouse, repeat when possible (it sucks getting older, but it beats the other option.
6. repeat #5
7. build self a work bench, or at least cut the lumber for it out of what i have on hand.
8. repeat #5 and #4
that pretty much covers it.

I gotta work sunday, pfeh! I'll try and get that done early, then cruise up into the city for a superbowl party, and maybe snag some tickets for a couple bands on my way through town. (depends on when the box office is open, if I can ever get them to answer the damn phone!)
Saturday will be... umm.... laundry and misc cleaning, not sure what all else. Possibly prowling after that.
But right now, I'll have a drink! Is there Harp on tap here?

In English pubs when I was 14 I think it was half lemonade half beer.Rian Jackson wrote:My lord, i haven't even heard the word shandy in years. Makes me want one. Half cider half lager was it?

Spent two weeks last summer in Northern England visiting my inlaws - Had many a shandy in da pubs. Half lemonade and half Ale. Started drinking about 5:00 and last call was at 11:00 - we closed a pub almost every night we were there. What an experience.Rian Jackson wrote:My lord, i haven't even heard the word shandy in years. Makes me want one. Half cider half lager was it?
Oh, and BHA - been talking to my answering machine lately?

Forgot about that. I love Superbowl Sunday, our hidden holiday. If you go out there's no one on the road, no one in the supermarket and everyone who is out is in a great mood because it's like this secret holiday. Lots of smiles.ThePikey wrote:. . .r a superbowl party, . . .
Plus that's the traditional day of the newt walk at Briones

Poof.
ag may be in better standing with the llc than any of us, but you're in better standing with the denizens of this thread, and maybe the whole forum.
No to dis Andie. But you're here more, so on the microlevel of this board you're doing more heavy lifting of this community. We may be here on the tolerence of teh llc, but we are of ourselves, not a mere adjunct. And if there were wierd undertones of vigilantyism in Seattle over the past few months, you're allowed to speak your truth of that experience. Unless of course, John Ashcroft comes out of retirement to stop you personally.
Drinks on me tonight.

Work epidemic for me. Some network gear vendor decided to relase a version of their code that only works to even numbered remote addresses so I have been holding their hand while they debug it.theCryptofishist wrote:psssst BHA are we alone in here?
