I'm SO FUCKING GLAD everything went well for you!!

and now, for my own personal hell yeah: while cleaning tonight, I found some money.

and we're not talking a 20 or anything....

I found one hundred and forty fucking dollars!!!

HELL YEAH!

Hell, yeah! GE, naked, wet, sending good thoughts...

With a visual like that, how could it have gone wrong! (and I think it went well for all 4 of us- me, the ex, the two kids)

In fact, I might take that visual with me tomorrow for the middle school math competition I was supposed to have organized. (Still a few loose ends...)

Nice find!

...maybe I should do some cleaning around here.

HELL YEAH! I got a job! At Wine Street and spirits. I'm going to get a discount on booze. HELL YEAH! It's only part time, but it's better than nothing. I start on the 18th, and I get to taste wine while I'm on the job. HELL YEAH!

Hell yeah (guardedly), mom's off the respirator and lucid. Surprised us all, especially the doctors. This does not mean she's well, but this is an improvement. A very reserved hell yeah.

I'm not sure what to say to this, I'm sorry to hear that your mom is sick. I hope that whatever happens she is comfortable.

On BNO, it wasn't a down-the-throat respirator, it was a strap-on mask. (hehe I said strap-on). Now she just has the little oxegyn canulas in her nose. It wasn't like she was on life support, although that decision was discussed as she was doing so poorly at one point.

That's why it has been a roller-coaster, and that's why I am guardedly optimistic with her improvements. She could go either way at anytime.

Hell yeah!

I just got word that my goood girl buddy is coming back from the middle east in a day or two! She went away to marry a sweet palestinian boy (yes, in keeping with proper custom, i hounded my friends to make sure he was worthy of her) and then found the cultural differences to be too great.

She stayed on to keep working there (she's done a lot of work with ambulances and medic teams in the area) and has been there for a long time. And now i get her back. She's the only person that really gets a few of my neuroses. And we know all the same people over there, too - she arrived for the first time the day after i left.

Hooray for girl time! (It's so fucking hard to find truly good people to have girl time with, and it sucks ass when they move away!)

Hell yeah!

Hell yeah! Went to see mom today (I go everyday). She was ... herself! Sitting up in a chair, although uncomfortably, but she was herself! Good natured, ate her yogurt by heself, she seems to be, ah, recovering. Not just improving, but recovering.

wow

(and the little voice says "but you know, eventually ..." and I tell it "yeah, but not that way, not like that.")

It's as likely to have made the difference as prayers.

Glad your mom's giving reason for guarded optimism, Mayday.

in the midwest, we say "she came to her senses in the nick of time."

i am glad she is coming home safely.

It's too bad Joel you are missing out on some very cool people outside of the states.

I bet if you have been out of the states, (which I doubt, at least not outside of the millitary anyway.) You probally would get treated like shit huh.

It's really too bad.

I know that not all people from the middle east are bad and shouldn't be judged by culture.

I'm pretty sure that wasn't the statement his post was meant to make.
