What Happens ... ?

Post by _tears_ » Fri Feb 04, 2005 11:31 pm

What happens when we do not use a gift we were blessed with. Any gift really, such as painting, drawing, writing, things of that nature?
Can a gift as such suddenly vanish from your body?
Can we lose interest in a gift we were blessed with?
Is it cheating the world if we do not use the gift we were given?

It will be given to someone else (trust me) but if you ever decide to use it, it is still yours... hang in there.. the Universe gives what it needs to give when it needs to give it... and if you're lucky, you can be part of it............

I think gifts can go into disrepair. They are like any kind of muscle, don't use it enough and it can go soft. I don't know about cheating the world, but fighting a gift will give you more trouble than using it.

My, how our _tears_ sounds so world weary!

I think they're excellent questions; way over my head, but excellent questions...

Use your gift and revel in it, _tears_. It's normal to ebb and flow, don't let it freak you out. And yes, you ARE 'cheating the world'; which includes you, of course.

Ebb and flow. Ebb and flow.

Yes, I have indeed returned after being away for some time.
I vanished after Burning Man 2004. Many reasons.
I am glad to be back, at least online. Looking forward to Burning Man 2006.. SO far away.
Just had my birthday Jan 29th and yes now I can attend Burning Man WITHOUT a legal guardian 8)

Thank you all for answering my questions. I suppose the fact is I have been fighting the gift I was blessed with, not wanting to deal with it, suppressed if you will. I will reflect on the words you have all blessed me with.

Hopefully you will see me around more often.

Tears, I hope you are not related to me... (I have relatives down there.... I'm from Sonora), but I just want to say.... hang in there... it all works out in the end... the universe makes it all work..... you will give just what you were supposed to give..................

Thank you, words of encouragement of such is exactly what I needed. It will help me to push through this slump I am in and accept that I have, for what it is and learn to love it.

It is so nice to be back... I can not even explain it.
