If you dont have a spot on your driveway, you probably wont leave a spot on the playa.

Most vehicles tend to leak more when they are running than when they are stopped so you are much more likely to drip stuff on the playa when you are in line at exodus.

Unless you know your vehicle drips ... I'd say don't worry about it. Condensate from an air conditioner is just water and will dry quickly.

I've slept in the back of Nephthys Navajo for five years. Three of those years I had a liftback tent from CampMor which means that the liftback stays open; cracking the moon roof and side windows provides a Bernoulli effect that kept it nice and frosty in there (sometimes too much so, especially if I turned in early).

I parked nose to windward and usually had some manner of shade canopy to the south; that together with the Bernoulli effect kept it from turning into an oven, even though the car's black. Keep your windows covered with tapestry blankets, space blankets, whatever. Bring a hammock or papasan cushion to stretch out on in the shade if you're really worried about cooking your brains out in the car.

Yes, dust gets in. It's the tradeoff for coming out there. Just keep your nose and eyes salined and vaselined, wash with orange cleanser, and deal with it. The best thing about sheltering in your vehicle is you don't have to worry about staking it down and you have ready music and power to plug your faerie lights into.

Just keep your nose and eyes salined and vaselined,
Why would you do that? Seems like a dust magnet just waiting to goo up your eyes.

I mean, I go for squalane.

healthier, more beautiful skin.

Dervived from the liver of shark which thrive in the cold, deep waters
of the Western Pacific, this valuable, time-proven oil is used

AND it helps deplete the world's waters of those pesky sharks that annoy Isotopia when she takes a dip in the waters just in front of her beutiful Maui condo.

I've slept in the back of a pick-up with a camper shell for four years and it worked out great.

As to space for entertaining, well, that's why shade structures were invented...

Funny, I was sure that the sharks had long since learned not to mess with Iso.

You would think that more than sharks would have learned that lesson, but no...
