From my experience yes. But, I keep an open mind. If someone wants to really prove to me that they have psyhic powers. I would certainly listen. But I do stay skeptical. They would really, really have to prove it to me. Probably in scientific ways.

I loved that author as a kid. Did you ever read the "Teeny Tiny Woman"? That one was my favorite.
