My mom saw the ad in the sun. Star Trib. Looks like it could be really cool. I'm going to drop off the app I picked up tomorrow.

yea, I noticed the workforce center.
They sell regular beads too. Plus all tons of stuff I've been thinking about buying like a sodering iron. And I have been thinking about learning to make stained glass, which they also teach classes of. AND, the ad said $8.50 to 12 bucks an hour, which is more than the wine store. This one could be really cool. But I'm not going to get my hopes up too high.

Ever since my local piss-ant police department (for a township with a population of 20,000) got its own Internet Crimes Division, I've been concerned about over-zealous, half-assed LEOs lurking on this board trying to nail somebody, anybody.
Cripes, nice morning conversation.
Kona anyone? (Note to The Man: It's coffee, you dumbasses!!!)

Here's what I just PMd nevadaguy:
Good morning, and thanks for thinking that I might have something meaningful to say on the subject of camping. But actually, where to camp really depends on your tolerance for noise, and what day of the week you arrive. Frankly, camp is mostly for sleeping, so I wouldn't worry about it too much, just avoid the far ends of the city where the large-scale sound (read rave) camps are. Two or three streets in from the Esplanade on the east side of the city is good - I think that the dust is less there since the prevailing wind can beat up the west side. Read the survival guide stuff on the main web site but don't worry too much about any of it. Just make sure to keep hydrated. Also, don't pay much attention to all that crap about bringing trinkets and other garbage to "gift." Just paint yourself blue, stick a few feathers up your ass and have a great time.
