I'll have some Kona, if it hasn't been all slurped down yet.

Then I gotta head to the shower.

I had a productive day yesterday... I'm still feeling the aftereffects...

I've been here a couple of hours already and got some stuff done last night, thank you very much. We have a little downtime now while the reporters finish their stories and before the page layout begins. So, what do I do? Jam on the eplaya.

Mercutio is a bit better, I believe. He's eating again, and going potty, though he's still being neurotic and biting hit little hot spots until they're raw.... don't quite know what's going on... I think that I might have to take him to the vet, once I get my next paycheck...

sorry to have missed you in the 'good morning' lineup M... I thought you had gone. It was pure oversight, my darling.

Miss Sky, Miss Elise, good morning! I'm trying to find some motivation but can't seem to get off me arse. Claire's got stuffy nose/cough/fever thing going on, and I feel like crawling back into bed. Meanwhile, I've yet to make it to the courthouse, my house is a mess, and the beau didn't show up last night from his trip out-of-state as he had planned, so I'm worrying about him, too. Lessee, what else.....oh it looks like rain for hte zillionth day in a row.

Ugh. I'll just be hiding out over here in the black pussy cat's dark corner with my friend the hookah.

No worries, Guin. I just got back on.
Definately if you can afford it take your pup to a vet. Hotspots aren't good, especially if he's biting and making sores. (Eww on a white dog :( )

What Is A Hot Spot?
A hot spot is the nickname given to a condition called pyotraumatic dermatitis. A hot spot consists of a bacterial infection (usually staphylococcus intermedius) that develops and rapidly spreads in the skin. A hot spot will be warm to the touch, painful to your dog and will emit pus and smell badly. Hair will usually fall out from the infected area. Because this condition is so painful and irritating the dog will usually bite and scratch the area further spreading the infection. Treatment should be started as soon as possible to prevent the infection from becoming systemic.

is this the trip to the courthouse to get that restraining order?

Fuck, girlie. call me, I'll motivate you. You MUST do that today, do you hear me? Your girls' safety is in jeapordy if you don't. I will be very very very angry with you if you don't get that done today, understand? VERY angry. And nobody likes me when I'm very angry... dig?

(oh, and thanks BHA)

Thank you. It is nice to see Iso not using her powers for evil for once.

And I hope giggles and GE never use their powers (more specifically their asses) for evil. Gigggles does, indeed, have a remarkably squeezable posterior.

hee! Thanks buckethead. I always enjoy a good squeeze, or even a whap for that matter. If I had longer arms perhaps I could get a better picture; hard to take a picture of yer own ass, at least without better equipment.

Allright allright GE. Me and Claire Bee are hitting the shower now and hten out the door. Thanks for caring, love.

Okay campers, BHA's gotta run out and take a picture. No, not of his ass, but come to think of it, that's not a bad idea. See you in a few.

Yay! my little Ficus Bonsai tree isn't dying! It dropped a leaf shortly after I brought it home, but now it's growing two new ones. I was worried about it. They're so temperamental.

Morning... nice to see all these smack-smackable tushies hanging around.

Giggles, get down to the courthouse and do what you gotta do.

GE... might be a food allergy too. Have you started using something different for your pup’s chow lately? I've seen cats and dog dig until they're almost bald because of that.

(Refilling coffee mug)
They're so temperamental.
Yay!! Go Ficus... I've seen them go almost bald before too... just from moving them.

ok, people... have a great one.

School year's early start burns parents
:
The Board of Education is expected to approve the school district's calendar for the 2005-06 academic year tonight -- but not before a spirited debate among parents over when classes should begin.

There have long been arguments among parents over whether school should start before or after Labor Day, with the former winning out the past several years.

This year, however, brings a new wrinkle -- the 20th anniversary of the Burning Man art festival in the wastelands of Nevada is scheduled for Aug. 29-Sept. 5. In an only-in-San Francisco argument, several parents are demanding that school start Sept. 6 so their children can attend the event.

Unfortunately for the Burning Man contingent, the board is expected to set Aug. 29 as the first day of school

Lizzie my the first lab mix dog kid, had horrible skin allergies, I had her tested and she turned out to be allergic to almost every thing outside. I got her some desensitizing shots I had to inject her with, but they only seemed to help a little. Then I got divorced, and moved into my own house and her skin cleared right up,.... I think the stress level from the tension around the house was the cause of her illness, and being out of it the cure.

She's had what sort of looked like ringworm( which is really a fungus infection ) this winter but none of the other dogs got it and I haven't treated it except to scratch off the dried skin. It didn't seem to bother her much,.. It's manifestation began around the time I was laid off,.... she is just so sensitive

More likely she was allergic to one or more of the products your ex uses that you don't...her particular brand of perfume or soap, for instance. Or perhaps to a mold that was present in your old house, or something in your yard that's not in your new one.
