(Lovelock is the closest weather station to BRC - though you can, in fact, enter "Black Rock City, NV" for your location and have that site generate a report.)

Oh, what I'd give for it to be in the 40's again like it was 2 weeks ago.
So, sleep at night and hang out when it's warm during the day? Or dress up as a Yeti......that could be funny!

So the theme this year is like a giant camp out in the desert? With people bringing lots of shit from all over? uh.. -Marscrumbs

*nods* The SSO* just gave me a generous gift that, along with my tax refunds, will get me current on all of my outstanding bills and rent. He was out of work for almost two years, and is doing his best to pay forward some of the help he received. I'm insanely grateful.GuinivereElise wrote:I'm the same way, Purple... well, with everything, really. I just have a really hard time accepting donations, from anyone.
but, now that I'm unemployed (well, at the end of the month), I guess I'm going to have to get over that...
The conversation where he asked me "How much?" triggered a panic attack. :-/ (And I never did give him a specific answer - just told him what I owed where, and let him decide.)
*SSO = Significant Something-or-Other. The lover who is probably coming to the desert with me this year.

I hear that. I've had similar offers, and I just always get all speechless...

Binding and torturing, oh my! I enjoy a good binding now and again, though I can't get the beau to use his skill with rope and expertise of knots on me. He's such a vanilla bastard. Not that I don't enjoy vanilla, but how about a little flavor now and again? Or at least a damn flower on valentine's day. sheesh.

I don;t know. I have about a thousand set aside from all my overtime to buy things for Kamp. Oooops, scratch that, about $400 now, my Valentines gift cost $600. Good thing I have OT tomorrow. We will probably know more in a month or so and my fund will be back up to the $1000 mark. But that includes my new tent so I am thinking a couple three hundred maybe?Zulegoona wrote:Happy Page 1900 everyone,...Heli what does it look like Apokiliptica will cost us individually?
